About me
Hello, I’m Katie a professionally trained celebrant with the International College of Professional Celebrants based in Oxfordshire, working throughout the Cotswolds and surrounding areas to create meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies.
My background is rooted in performance and storytelling. I trained as an actress and spent many years appearing in productions (including a brief adventure with a circus!), before moving into drama teaching, where I spent 15 years helping young people express themselves with confidence and creativity. These experiences taught me how to listen deeply, understand people’s stories, and communicate with warmth and clarity. All skills that shape every ceremony I create in a unique and exciting way.
I live in Oxfordshire with my wonderful husband and our two beautiful children. When I planned my own wedding with the help of a close friend, and had my father-in-law as our celebrant, I realised just how delightful a ceremony like that can be. The experience sparked something in me, and I knew I wanted to bring that same sense of joy, love and connection to others.
I specialise in designing ceremonies that feel authentic, personal and truly memorable. I take the time to get to know you and your journey, your values and your hopes. This allows your ceremony to reflect who you are in the most meaningful way.
